About Our Organization

SHARE TO LIGHT EAST AFRICA is a nonprofit organization with the goal to help less privileged children with disabilities learn skills that can benefit them. In Rwanda especially Kigali city, the capital city of Rwanda, there are many less privileged children with several disabilities. With the help of SHARE TO LIGHT, we want to advocate for them for medical attention and meanwhile provide them with skills that can help them to earn a living.

SHARE TO LIGHT is the idea that came from people who knew how the lack of basic needs can damage the future unless one is introduced to a skill or education that provides a vision to a better future. We are going to solve 3 problems at once; less privileged children’s struggles, advocacy for disabled children, and unemployment plus we will make sure those children help their families and other children.

We want to provide a space where those less privileged children feel wanted and loved and on top of it the space where they can start growing their curiosity and hope for the future. We aim at developing generations of children with visions to reach their highest potential regardless of physical disabilities. Our core beneficiaries are FAMILY-CHILD-SOCIETY, with a strong emphasis always on the child.
